Well. We made it as far as Ashford... a lorry on fire caused the Channel tunnel to be closed; we missed our connecting services to Moscow; and our plans have acquired the shapliness of a pear! Change of plan and we are flying to Moscow tomorrow. Unless we still have some more bad karma to expunge...

So farewell then, all. It is 9am on a Monday morning and instead of trotting off to work, we are packing our bags for the final time before catching the 12.40 Waterloo-Bruxelles-Koln-Moskva. In 48 hours, we'll be in a world of banyas, babushkas and borshcht. Laters, me gurt lush-ones. D.
